My Empties October 2016

Here I am again with my little list of empties for the month. I am really enjoying sharing my thoughts on the products that I have been using with you guys, plus it is helping me use up all the goodies I have been hoarding for ages lol.

There were going to be four products this month, but my son threw away my empty bottle of shower gel thinking he was being helpful. I have also decided not to include the Dove soap I have used as I have included it in previous posts so you already know I love it.

empties shampoo & conditioner

The Garnier fructis colour last shampoo and conditioner is what I have been using after I have been to the gym. I have not had my hair highlighted in over a year but am still using the colour last stuff. These both smell really nice which is great after being in the gym. I did find if I didn’t use the conditioner my hair was a little dry. But using them together my hair felt lovely and soft.

body polish

The Along Came Betty Body Polish is one of the best things I have found in Tesco. It only cost £3 which I thought was a bargain. The grains of rock salt in this are quite big so it really exfoliates the skin well. It feels lovely when you rub it in (or am I a bit mad?), quite relaxing to do. the scrub is quite thick so it does not run, it goes where you spread it. I would definitely recommend this.

I wasn’t that impressed with the super enchant mascara from Avon. It didn’t make my lashes look longer and it was a bit clumpy. This was ok for a quick trip to the shops or park with the kids, but not for a night out. This isn’t the worse mascara I have used, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

So there are the empties for this month. I hope you enjoy reading these posts as much as I like writing them.

Take care everyone.

  2. Ohh some lovely treats, I usually stick to the cheap stuff but recently got some nice smellies for my birthday – it’s nice to treat yourself sometimes. #KCACOLS

  3. Oooh the body polish looks yum – and affordable. I love those types of things but always go through them so quickly it seems like a waste!! #kcacols
