empties

The last empties post I wrote seemed to go down quite well. So, I thought I would make it a regular feature on the blog. Plus, I think we are all a bit nosy and we want to see what other people are using. Well at least I hope you like it, or this post is useless!

Dove soap

Again, my bath time staple, Dove soap! I wasn’t able to get the exfoliating one this month, but the normal bar is just as good to my skin so it’s not a problem.

The lovely “Dove” aroma hits you before you even open the box It feels lovely and creamy as you use it. Love it.

Asda Hairspray

I am bit of a hairspray fiend. Apparently I choke everyone out when I spray it. But it holds my hair how I want it too. It does make my hair feel a bit hard, but I haven’t found anything else that holds my style.

I do occasionally put some mousse on the back of my hair if it’s sticking up, and hairspray always goes over the top.

I’m not the best at hair styling I will admit. I was never girly, my hair got brushed and that was about it. So, I will never have amazing looking hair. The Asda hairspray was only about a pound and it does the job.

Olay moisturiser

This Olay even & smooth moisturiser was a lovely find in Poundland. It is not greasy and it makes your skin feel really nice. There have been a few days where this was the only make up that I put on at all and I felt great.

I haven’t had any skin breakouts or anything while using it either. My only complaint is that the tube is quite small so it doesn’t last very long, but hey, it was in Poundland.

Avon face perfector

The Avon Magix face perfector has been something I have used for a couple of years. You can wear on it’s own or as a base under foundation.

It is great on its own, but I found with foundation is goes a bit flakey and I end up with all these little white bits stuck to my face. More and more moisturisers are doing the same thing as this now. Sorry, but it is goodbye face perfector.

I’ve almost finished a few shower gels, but they’ll have to wait until next month’s post. I am trying to use them up before the inevitable Christmas bath presents start to arrive lol.

Take care everyone.

This is an interesting concept for a post, and one where you can truly review a product after using it all, instead of using it once or twice and then reviewing. There are some great everyday essential products here, so it’s fab to read an honest review of them. Thanks so much for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
