Getting myself organised

The last few days have been quite busy. I have worked quite a bit, been into town to do some banking and shopping (very cute pair of sandals acquired), been to my cousins 40th birthday party, worked out at the gym and had cuddles with my kids. It might not sound like I have done that much, but trying to get anything done at the weekend with the kids here takes so long.

Although it has been a bit exhausting, I have actually enjoyed being busy. I have surprised myself with the amount I have got done this weekend. Now I know how much I can do when I put my mind to it I am a bit more optimistic over the amount of housework I can get done each day and still have enough time to read and write blogs.

I have already got enough done today that I can sit here and write this blog. Also I am going to have enough time to take my daughter to the library after school and pop to Costa for relaxing drink while we read.

As I have said before, the last year or so I have struggled with trying to keep the house together, but I am beginning to see how easy it could be.

Everyday I am winning little battles, each battle knocks down a blockade in front of me and pushes me further forward. The last week or so I have felt so much better than I have in a long time. People have been commenting that I am looking so much better than I have done, hearing other people say this has been a great boost.

I am looking forward to doing a lot more reading when I have the whole house sorted. I may even get round to writing the book I have been talking about for a while.

Right, well I am off to get my daughter and then to peruse the library, I wonder what delights I will find in there today?

Take care everyone.
