I am a great lover of tea, I always have been since I was little. Drinking tea is an important part of relaxing for me, as well as being a much needed wake up in the morning (the kids and hubby know better than to try and talk to me before I’ve had a cuppa!).
Tea is also the thing that helps me and my friends discuss our problems, what’s wrong with the world and how we are going to sort it all out. There is nothing better than having a nice long natter over a cup of tea.
As well as drinking the traditional types of tea (Earl Grey or Breakfast Tea), I like to try new teas as well. This is why at the moment I am really enjoying Twinings tea. Not only do they make traditional teas, but they also have new and exciting flavours arriving all the time. In fact, there are over 200 blends to choose from.
Twinings have over 300 years of experience when it comes to making teas. Their products are always of the highest quality, which is one of the reasons why Twinings is still so popular today. One of the other things I love is the fact that they are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership and they work to make the lives of children in rural tea growing areas in china.
I have quite a soft spot when it comes to the Twinings Breakfast Tea, it is definitely a good wake up in the morning. That classic black tea with milk (and sugar if it’s a difficult morning) is so nice to sip slowly and brush away the sleepy daze of the morning.
Flavoured green teas are a growing favourite of mine, especially the Ginger bread green tea. From the second you open the box you can smell the gingerbread as if it had been cooking in your kitchen. it has real ginger pieces and golden syrup flavour which makes it a different, but delicious green tea.
The green tea flavours include caramelised apple, salted caramel, fudge melts and cherry bakewell. I am looking forward to trying the fudge melts one as I love fudge!.
Take care everyone.
