5 weeks ago I started this happy things series, and I am very glad I did. It has really helped me to be more positive. Over the last couple of months, I have started to feel much better in myself and I can see the fog of depression lifting a bit. Seeing all these things I have to be happy about makes me so grateful for the life I have and the people in it.

I haven’t been anywhere particularly exciting this week, but then life isn’t always about doing the exciting things lol. But, I have had a good week……

Shopping with my friend

On Monday, my lovely friend Emma asked me to go shopping with her. Who was I to say no to shopping?!

Emma had to get a few things for her daughter’s birthday, which meant a trip to The Range. I love the Range, so does Emma.

As I am on a saving spree at the moment I was very good and didn’t buy anything, I lived vicariously through Emma’s shopping lol. It was also a great chance for us to catch up too. We laughed a lot, which is something I don’t think we do enough of.

Doing my linky commenting in the cafe

I decided to take my tablet to the cafe and see if I could get some of my linky commenting done. And it was a great idea. I sat there for over an hour doing this (and drank my tea while it was hot!). It was surprising to me how much I was actually able to do in this time. I think I might make this a weekly thing.

Spending time with hubby

On Saturday, Booey had a friend over for the day/night. This meant she was busy all day. As Ben Bob was home as well we took the opportunity to go for a walk and have a tea without them (I know, it sounds mean lol). We were only out for an hour, but it was so nice to have this little bit of time alone together. We even held hands in the cafe!

Going to Activate Trampoline Park

If you watch my YouTube videos, you will know that I went here a few weeks ago with Ben Bob and I totally failed at trampolining. But Sunday was Emma’s daughter’s birthday party at Activate and this time I went nowhere near the trampolines!

We took Ben Bob with us too as we know he loves it there. I smugly sat with a cup of tea in the cafe area watching as Emma ran around trying to get pictures of all the kids. It was lovely to see them all bouncing around enjoying themselves. There were some very tired kids in the evening.

For those who haven’t seen it, here is my trampolining video from a few weeks ago.

Those are my happy things for this week. What has made you happy this week or just in general?

Take care everyone.
