I am super late writing my beauty empties this post this month. I had a couple of weeks where I felt quite low and anxious and found it hard to concentrate on anything. Thankfully, now I am on a bit more of an even keel. I have also been kept busy by the ladies at the knit and natter group that I go to. A couple of weeks ago we were all making bunnies and now they have me making twiddle mitts. These are given to dementia patients to give them something to do with their hands. It does feel good to be making something that will help someone.

Now I have made my excuses, on to my beauty empties for this month.

I got this mini Right Guard total defence antiperspirants with a magazine I bought. I also bought one for Booey as there were a couple of other beauty products in it that I knew we would both love. This was really good. It has been a while since I have used Right Guard, so I was a little dubious as to whether it would be as good as the Sure I usually use. For me it was great. I felt dry and fresh all day. Will use this again.

I have used the Wella Shockwaves volume mousse before. It is great for styling and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky. I use it too keep the bit of hair around the crown of my head flat. It always sticks up, it really annoys me. This also helps to protect your hair from heat when styling.

I went through a stage where I used dry shampoo a lot. But recently I have hardly used it and for this reason I haven’t bought any more. The Boots Tropical Dry Shampoo is really nice. It really does smell tropical! It refreshes hair really well without it looking powdery. And being a Boots own brand product means it is fairly cheap too.

I love the Dove body washes. They all smell really nice and make my skin feel really good. The Dove go fresh I got for Christmas was no exception. The pomegranate and lemon verbena scents combined really well. My skin felt really soft after using this. It didn’t dry my skin out either. I have a couple more of these in my stash (different scented ones), so will be using them throughout the year.

A nice handwash is a must in our bathroom. I wash my hands numerous times a day, so I want something that smells nice and won’t dry out my hands. Booey saw this Carex fun edition strawberry laces one and decided that was the one we had to buy! I’ll be honest, I didn’t mind my hands smelling of sweets most of the day! I find that the Carex handwashes last quite a while too which is good. This time we have got the Lovehearts one. Hopefully it will be as nice as this one.

Finally we get to a new favourite of mine. If you’ve read these posts before, you know that I love Radox bubble bath. I’ve stuck with it for a long while. But at the moment I’m signed off work so I have to be careful how much I spend. I go into Aldi every couple of weeks to do a kind of top up shop. Whilst in there I saw the Lacura stress therapy bath soak. It’s bigger than the Radox bottle and was only 52p so, I thought I would give it a go. And I am glad I did! It smells really similar to the Radox one and it makes lots of bubbles. Plus it costs less for a bigger bottle, I have found a winner! I’ve bought the muscle soak one this time and so far I’m loving it.

So that’s my beauty empties for this month. What beauty products have you been using this month, anything good?
