How are we in August already? I feel like I haven’t had a moment to take a breath and over half the year has passed already! Maybe it feels like time has gone so fast as I have been so busy working on my blogs and YouTube channel.

I have been working hard at starting to really build up my blogs (I have a second one I am getting ready to launch) and start turning it into a proper income stream so that I can quit my day job and work from home. The main reason that I want to do this is so that I can spend more time with my family. I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with my grandson over the last year and it has shown me just how much I miss family time. I know that this won’t happen overnight, but I am moving in the right direction with it all.

Here are a couple of posts that I have published recently.

My YouTube channel, Ali Budgets, is going well too. I am showing my real journey with cash budgeting, even the bits where I make mistakes. Doing this shows my viewers what can go wrong and how to fix things. I’m hoping that my channel will also help me reach my work-from-home goal.

Something else I am starting at the moment is volunteering at my local community fridge. They are trying to stop so much food from being wasted. I think it is great what they are doing and wanted to help and give back to my local community.

As you can see, I am very busy at the moment but I have still had time to read some great blogs.

Here are the great blogs that you should be reading this month.
