Christmas is the time of year for good food and drink. We all buy extra goodies to make our Christmas special. I remember my mum ordering a Hamper for Christmas when I was younger. It seemed so exciting to have all this food and drink delivered like this. It was lovely to have all these treats over the festive period.

Prestige hampers: Luxury christmas hamper review

I haven’t had a Christmas hamper since I was a kid, so when I got the chance to review a hamper from Prestige Hampers I jumped at the chance.

Prestige Hamper Review

Prestige Hampers have a wide range of hampers available. You can buy them for yourself or there is an option to send one as a gift, which I think is a lovely idea. All the hampers include luxury food and drink, and some of the more expensive hampers include Christmas crackers and fleece blankets.

There is a hamper or gift for every budget. I couldn’t believe how much choice there was. We had the Fabulous Christmas hamper (£49.99) delivered.

The hamper arrived quickly, packaged in a box. I was so excited to take the hamper out of the box, I was literally like a kid on Christmas morning.

The hamper looked lovely, it felt quite posh opening it all up lol.

On opening the hamper it was obvious that the hamper was well-packed. There was a lot of protection for the contents.

Booey was with me as I opened up the hamper, she was excited too. As I was taking things out of the hamper she was taking them off me saying she wanted them!

Inside the hamper was:

  • Ooh! Chocolata – the Blonde Collection – Honey Blonde 50g
  • Yorkshire Crisps Tub – Natural sea salt 100g
  • Belgian Fancy Truffes – Marc de Champagne 200g
  • Belgian Chocolate Thins – Caramel 80g
  • Farmhouse Biscuits – Pumpkin seed cranberry biscuits for cheese 125g
  • London Tea – 10 tea bags
  • Matthew Walker Luxury Christmas Pudding – serves one
  • Mackays the Dundee Orange Marmalade 113g
  • Mackays Scottish Strawberry Preserve 113g
  • Founders Stone Pinot Grigio 187ml (equates to one large glass)
  • Founders Stone White Zinfandel 187ml
  • Founders Stone Merlot 187ml

The selection of food and drink in the Hamper was lovely. All lovely treats for over the Christmas period. I did love the inclusion of some nice tea bags. A good cuppa is something I love at the best of times, but to have a luxury one at Christmas is even better.

The chocolate included was absolutely divine. Booey and I ate the Ooh! chocolate before my husband even came home, oops! My husband immediately took the biscuits for cheese, he was not sharing lol!

Prestige Christmas Hamper: Final Thoughts

All in all, I think the hamper is a lovely gift for someone (or a very nice treat for your own family). A Christmas hamper is definitely going to be on my shopping each Christmas.

You can see all the hampers available on the Prestige Hampers website here.
