The Body Shop Enchanted Deluxe Advent Calendar Review

Christmas is over which means no more advent calendar, boohoo! For the last couple of years, I have bought beauty advent calendars. Last year I bought the Soap & Glory one, which was great. This year I decided to get The Body Shop beauty Advent calendar. I went with the Enchanted Deluxe advent calendar. It was more than I intended to pay (£65), but there was over £100 worth of products in it!

The calendar

This had been in my wardrobe since September, I could not wait for the first of December! The box folds out to reveal 25 (yes 25!) cute little numbered boxes. Each box has a little suggestion on something you could do to help the planet a little. Also when you have finished the calendar, you can turn the boxes over to make 3 mini puzzles. Booey loved doing this on Christmas day.

I love The Body Shop Products, their mango body butter is divine! Opening this every day was a real treat for me. There is a mix of shower gels, hand creams, body butter, lip balm, exfoliators, and makeup items. On the last day, there was the cutest owl face cloth (I am not sure if I am ever going to be able to use it lol).

What was inside?

Not all of the products are in the picture. I have used the green tea bath bomb, which was divine and the coconut bubble bar, which smelled amazing! There were also eyelash curlers (needed these as Booey seems to have permanently borrowed mine!), a liquid eyeliner and lip pencil.

What I thought

I was really happy that the mango body butter and shower gel were in the calendar. The smell of the mango is so nice and the scent does last a while.

The variety of products was great. It wasn’t just all bath stuff, the makeup, hand creams, and the eyelash curlers were all perfect for this calendar. I’m interested to see how good the eye make up remover is and seeing if I can use liquid eyeliner lol! Since having the calendar I have bought a couple of other The Body Shop makeup products and I am loving them.

I’ve had to hide the peppermint candy cane shower gel and strawberry face mist as Booey keeps trying the nick them off me. One of the worst things about her turning into a teenager is that she keeps trying to steal my beauty products and shoes!

Overall, I am so glad I decided to get The Body Shop beauty advent calendar this year. I would be very tempted to get this again next year, but I will wait and see what else is available then.

*Update* I have recently bought The Body Shop Advent calendar for 2019. I will do a full review of it once I have opened all the doors in December. I’ll also be uploading a video to YouTube every day leading up to Christmas. I will be opening the calendar on video for you all to see as well as other Christmas things.*
