My Love of Tea

I am a great lover of tea; I always have been, ever since I was little. Drinking tea is an important part of my relaxation, as well as a much-needed wake up in the morning. The kids and hubby know better than to try and talk to me before I’ve had a cuppa!

Tea is also the thing that helps me and my friends discuss our problems. We chat about what is wrong with the world and how we are going to sort it all out. There is nothing better than having a nice long natter over a cup of tea.

As well as drinking traditional types of tea, such as Earl Grey or Breakfast Tea, I like to try new teas as well. This is why at the moment I am really enjoying Twinings tea. They have lots of new and exciting flavours, as well as their classic tea selection. In fact, there are over 200 blends to choose from.

Twinings have over 300 years of experience when it comes to making tea. Their products are always of the highest quality, which is one of the reasons why Twinings is still so popular today. I love the fact that they are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership, meaning they work to improve the lives of children in rural tea growing areas in China.

I have quite a soft spot when it comes to the Twinings Breakfast Tea- it is definitely a good wake up in the morning. That classic black tea with milk is so nice to sip slowly and brush away the sleepy daze of the morning. I’ll also add sugar if it’s a difficult morning!

Flavoured green teas are a growing favourite of mine, especially the gingerbread green tea. From the second you open the box, you can smell the gingerbread as if it’s been cooking in your kitchen. This tea has real ginger pieces and golden syrup flavour. This makes it a different but delicious green tea.

The green tea flavours include caramelised apple, salted caramel, fudge melts and cherry bakewell. I am looking forward to trying the fudge melts one, as I love fudge!

Twinings has a fabulous range of teas. You can also find loose teas, tea accessories, confectionery and gift boxes on the Twinings tea shop website here. This is a must for any tea lovers.

Take care everyone.
