It’s September and we are into the last week of the school holidays here. I have had the last week off work and tomorrow it is back to it. Booey and I have had a lovely time this summer. She spent 2 weeks in Spain with my sister and mum (my mum lives out there), we have been to the beach as much as we can and we have window shopped til we dropped lol! As I write this we are watching the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, I love evenings like this together.
The blogging has slipped a bit as I have been spending so much time with Booey. As much as I love my blog, I love Booey more so wanted to spend as much time as I could with her (well at least when she wasn’t busy with her friends lol).
I did write a post for Jouellerie jewellery. They sent me some lovely pieces to review. I have had to hide some of it from Booey so she doesn’t “permanently borrow” it from me! You can read that post here. I am looking for new sponsored posts all the time and once the holidays are over I will have a bit more time for this.
How did I do with my goals in August??
- Look for more core workouts – I found a few workouts on YouTube and have been doing them. I also found some back workouts too, this is something else I wanted to work on. Shoulder workouts are next on my list.
- Get more organised – I’ve not been organised at all. I wanted to try to sort my days out so I knew what I was doing more instead of everything being off the cuff. hopefully I will implement this a bit more over the coming months.
- Post twice a week – This really hasn’t happened. As I have wanted to spend time with Booey in the holidays I haven’t had as much time for the blog. This will change when Booey goes back to school.
- Vlog more – This we have done! Not a huge amount, but we are back at it and have a few ideas of vlogs we want to post in the coming weeks. I am very happy with what we are doing.
And what would I like to achieve in September……
- Read more – I got back to reading more, then the holidays happened and I stopped doing it so much. I am trying to go to bed earlier and get some reading in then.
- Get more organised – I want to get my life more organised and into a better routine, my to-do lists just aren’t cutting it lol!
- Find more linkies to join – I am only joining in with 3 linkies at the moment, I think it would really help my blog views if I took part in more. Reading other people’s blogs is something I enjoy and hopefully this will help me find new blogs to read and people to connect with.
Overall not a bad month for me. I am hoping that with the fact I will have more time from next week I can put more time into the blog.
Do you have any goals this month?
Take care everyone.

I find September is a better time to set goals than January. I’ve a thinned out list to hopefully achieve most, rather than stretching myself too far. Being organized is top of the list! Good luck with your goals. #MMBC

I admire you for doing this review and goal-setting and may learn from you and do it myself if I can get organised. Reading wise, check out the Read with Me linky as I find that helps me remember to read and to make time for it although I do still struggle with work, home education, housework and all. Oh and there is a blog linkies list over on my blog if you fancy a look #TriumphantTales

I find putting my goals out there like this make s me more likely to work on them, I have to be accountable then! Thanks for the linky advice, I will check out your list, thank you.

I feel privileged that we are one of the linkys you join each week! It’s nice that you have enjoyed the Summer with your little girl, sometimes you have to prioritise. Thank you for sharing with #TriumphantTales, look forward to seeing you again this week.

I have been joining your linky pretty much from the start, love it!

It can be so hard to be realistic in August, I find. I often just go for bare minimum so that I don’t set myself to fall short (fall short, not fail!). Here’s to a September with more time for you! #kcacols

Your goals are on point lady! I don’t vlog yet but have been so tempted to try, I think I’m afraid of all the editing that goes with it! It’s good to commit these to your blog! Good luck! #KCACOLS

The editing can be a pain, I am no expert at it, but I am getting better x
