They are calming and meditative, giving us chance to relax our minds with a random activity that is simple but all-consuming.

Adult colouring books can also encourage greater concentration and creativity, allowing anyone to exercise the creative side of their brain in this stress-free, relaxing activity.

You don’t need a lot of money or materials to start colouring as an adult. If you have kids, you could try out a few pictures in their books first or buy a beginner’s adult colouring book to get started. All you really need is a book and some coloured pencils, and you’re good to go!
